1. 'FAMILY' Life is complicated as the ad goes. All of it. The title of this oversized canvas says it all. Intensely personal (and what isn't), it's another aspect of my own personal journey right up to the time that it sprung out of me. I won't dissect it here, if looking at it speaks to an your own personal experience, then that's an added plus for me.
2 - 5. 'DIARY U.S.' Mixed media from my sketchpad. A travelogue that spoke to my first journey overseas alone. Preceding it was a time of growth and intense pain as having to deal with a personal death for the first time - a state of being that nothing can ever prepare you for, yet it was balanced by the love and support I felt from family, friends and a wonderful group of new friends, I'd made as I travelled many parts of the U.S. There are a few more images from this group, I'll post them eventually.
6. 'LABOR DAY' Always feels like the 'U' is missing from that word and for me it is, but I digress. This oversized canvas i felt informed me of the kind of artist I thought I wanted to be - but as the saying goes, 'Man plans, God laughs'........He is still laughing I guess.
7 - 9. 'CLOCKWORK' Inspired by the novel written by Anthony Burgess.
10. 'FAST TRACK U.S.' More of these to be posted soon.
11. SPOT ILLUSTRATIONS Perhaps these are out of place in this section, but for now I'll keep them here. A mix of personal spot 'illos'/cartoons for a popular exercise magazine
